I have been going here since I was a baby, and the women are the sweetest! Somehow, they still remember every detail about me and serve the best desserts!! inflation can be really tough, but somehow they still managed to keep their prices low and their desserts delicious!

I must have tried each item here and there has never been a miss. It’s a small, intimate operation, which means there is a high level of care and simplicity to the recipes. The walnut raspberry bars and the almond tart are highlights. Best small bakery in Queens

Strawberry Shortcake freshly made to order! We ordered one for Cake Day with friends and it is absolutely divine. Not too sweet and not overwhelming with cream. Perfectly balanced cake. Strawberries were fresh and the cake is not refrigerated. I ordered the cake on Thursday and tell them exactly when you will pick it up and they will have it ready for you! $65 for this 10 inch cake and totally worth it. Bring cash to pay as they are a small business. Their chocolate croissants and soft chocolate chip cookies are amazing as well. Give them a try and help keep them in the neighborhood Not meant for a sit and dine bakery, so rating for atmosphere is not applicable.

The decor of Bonelle Pastry Shop is humble and narrow-spaced. They serve a great variety of pastries, desserts and cookies freshly with reasonable price. We got their almond croissant and marble pound cake. It’s was decent but without the delicate flavor. The texture of croissant was soft with no layers, not my type but my husband loves it. The marble pound cake was in great balance of chocolate & vanilla and not too sweet. It’s not the best bakery but definitely a bakery that reminds people of the neighborhood of Forest Hills. However, they take cash only and we were concerned about this during the pandemic.

The best bakery I’ve ever visited!!! Customer service was lovely and the cakes were all freshly baked (and great prices!) The lemon bar was a particular favourite! I absolutely recommend visiting here.

I was craving something sweet, and on the way to the LIRR, I saw a pastry shop, so decided to come in. Rita is so sweet - the establishment is cash only and I didn't happen to have enough cash on me, but she happily let me pay with what I had and I could pay her back later. She recommended the almond croissant, so I went with that and it was delicious! It had a nice texture and wasn't excessively sweet. I can't comment on the other pastries (yet!), but they all looked great too!

Small and quaint, but packed with flavor and homemade goodness! I stumbled upon this charming little pastry shop tucked away off Austin St. and was instantly drawn in by the irresistible aroma of freshly baked treats. Every bite tasted like it was made with passion and tradition. I ended up trying four different pastries—and I don’t regret a single one! The owners shared that they’ve been doing this for 33 years, and I can only hope they continue for at least 33 more. They are cash only and no indoor seating so be prepared .

I’ve lived in this neighborhood for over 25 years and finally visited this bakery for the first time. I purchased a pound of assorted cookies, and each one was a delight—handmade, fresh, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. They only accept cash, so come prepared.
